Dr. Kalidindi N. Satyanarayana is currently the founding Director of IIT Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. He is on deputation from IIT Madras where he has been a Professor in the Building Technology & Construction Management Division of the Department of Civil Engineering. He received his B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Madras. He then received MS and PhD degrees with specialization in Construction Engineering and Management from Clemson University, USA. He has been a faculty member at IIT Madras since 1991. In 2009 he was a Visiting Professor at Iowa State University, USA. His teaching, research and consulting interests are in the areas of project management, construction contracts, construction productivity, construction equipment, C&D waste management, and public private partnerships. He has published extensively in these areas. He is the recipient of many awards including the Project Management Institute (India) Distinguished Scholar Award (2011).

R Saha is a Senior Adviser of Confederation of Indian Industry after serving the Government of India for 35 years in scientific and engineering research, policy making, and managing national R&D programs. He presently advises CII on IPR and technology. While at CII, he has developed a 26-parameter matrix for evaluating IPR management systems of industries, conducted several training programs on IPR valuation and licensing, IPR laws and emerging areas; and developed policy papers. He has been with CII for the last 12 years. He retired as Scientist G and Adviser from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. He has wide experience in technology evaluation and assessment, intellectual property rights management including international negotiations, regulatory processes, R&D policies, and project implementation. He was the one to bring the US patent on turmeric to the notice of public and the nation. He conceived and started a program for women scientists to train them in IPR matters for one year for utilizing their talents in a critical scientific area.

Dr. Ajai Kumar, currently Senior Director and HoD of Applied Artificial Intelligence Group & Graphic and Intelligence based Script Technology (GIST) group, C-DAC, Pune, has long-standing highly productive administrative acumen for project proposals submission to project completion and deployment, feasibility studies, requirement analysis, organization of Workshops, Seminars and Technical Exhibitions. As a seasoned business and technology leader with more than 20 years of experience, he is passionate about technology and IT application in business transformation. His research vision and contribution also encompass into many fields having published various technical papers on Speech Technologies, Search Technologies, Translation and Transliteration in IEEE, Scopus, Springer and other major publications/conferences besides attending various International and National level conferences.

Suraj George Varghese is a Mechanical Engineer by qualification from Mangalore University and has a total of about 26 years of experience in the field of Innovation and Intellectual Property Rights. Suraj is also a registered India Patent Agent and is currently a Partner with LexOrbis, a comprehensive Intellectual Property law firm involved in IP and Legal services, since 2019. He currently manages various IP matters from the Bangalore Office. Prior to joining LexOrbis, Suraj has worked for more than 15+ years as in-house IP professional in various roles at the Global Research Center of General Electric Company, Bangalore, handling and managing various aspects of IP such as patent drafting, prosecution, IP analysis, IP trainings, etc. Prior to the stint in General Electric, Suraj has also worked for a total of about 6 years in a couple of consulting companies involved in systematic innovation employing theory of inventive problem-solving concept (Triz Methodology) and providing customized IP data for Derwent database.
