India Innovates Conclave: “ASSOCHAM Awards for ICT Start-Ups”

 

On the occasion of World IP Day, in recognition and appreciation of the good work done by Indian SMEs in the IP domain, ASSOCHAM had organized India Innovates Conclave: “ASSOCHAM Awards for ICT Start-Ups” in the evening of 26th April, 2017 at Hotel Claridges, New Delhi. Ericsson India was the Award Presenting Partner. The winners of the awards was given a prize money of Rs. 1, 00,000/- each by Ericsson along with a memento. Two awardees Dr Rajesh P MD & CEO of Rajesh Laboratories Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore in the hardware category - Innovation in Hardware & Devices Stream category and Shri Vishal Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO of Vcare Technologies Pvt. Ltd. CEO, New Delhi in the software category-Innovation in Software & Apps Stream were applicants under the SIPEIT scheme of MeitY. Union Railway Minister, Shri. Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu was the Chief Guest for the occasion who gave away the awards.

Shri. Rajiv Aggarwal, Joint Secretary, DIPP, Dr. A.K. Garg, Director, MeitY, Shri. Nicholas Körnig, Administrator International Co-operation, EPO, Ms. Pratibha Singh, Senior Advocate, Delhi High Court, Shri. Praveen Anand, Managing Partner Anand & Anand and Ms. Chandni Raina, Professor, Centre for WTO Studies, IIFT were felicitated by the Chief Guest Shri. Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Union Railway Minister as a token of acknowledgement for their exemplary work in promoting the cause of IPR in the country.
